Information Security Engineer AL755-03 McAllister Conduct Research and development of Information Security Software to support DoD customer. Primary focus will be on development of advanced agent-based Intrusion Detection System. Other duties may include integration of existing open source and commercial off the shelf security application such as intrusion detection, vulnerability scanning, security policy, network situational awareness, attack response, and post -attack forensics tools into a coherent suite to provide mission critical decision-making information to Army commanders, security managers and information security operator/analysts. 3 years experience in security software research and development or Master's Degree in Information Security related studies. C and C++ and Java required. Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one. SANS institute, CISSP, Cisco, and or Microsoft Security certifications a plus. BS in Computer Science or Math. BS in CS or Math; 3 years exp.
