Senior Intrusion Detection Engineer

MUST HAVE A CURRENT TS/SCI CLEARANCE - NO NEED TO APPLY IF NOT CURRENT Education:
B.A. or B.S. degree. (A must have)

*This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in the IT Industry.

General Experience:
· Intrusion detection systems, (i.e. Cisco, SNORT, DRAGON)
Dragon Intrusion Detection system
· The design, development and maintenance of Dragon Intrusion
Detection software systems
· Managing a team of minimal guidance from program manager
supervision

Specialized Experience:
At least 5 years of IT security related experience, such as Intrusion Detection configuration, implementation, maintenance, and analysis; defining computer security requirements for systems or high-level applications, evaluating approved security product capabilities, and developing proper computer system security solutions. Performing operating system hardening, vulnerability assessments, security policy creation and implementation. (Dragon IDS experience is valuable)
