ADOBE SYSTEMS - San Jose, CA -- Application Security Analyst

As a key member of the Information Security team, the position is responsible for administration of security and risk mitigation within business applications. This position will initially be responsible for broad vulnerability assessments and reporting related to external security and control requirements. Additional responsibilities include the development and implementation of advanced threat detection technologies and supporting programs. The responsibilities include:

Evaluation of the effectiveness of information security controls within internally and externally developed applications. Provide consulting expertise on assigned projects regarding secure application development and deployment. Manage encryption keys used for security of sensitive data. Manage deployment of software package in support of email and file transfer encryption program.
Participate with development teams as required to integrate single sign-on infrastructure within enterprise applications. Participate with project teams, vendors and with other systems professionals to identify innovative security solutions.

Knowledge and Skills:

Applicant must have the following qualifications:

A working knowledge of VISA CISP, Safe Harbor, and e-risk insurance requirements.
Strong project management skills and proven leadership of project teams. Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Good negotiation and mediation skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to advocate information security solutions.
High degree of initiative, motivation and problem solving skills.
