products. Enterasys manufacturers Dragon IDS, a UNIX
based intrusion detection system. I have deployed
Dragon IDS at Wal-Mart, USAA, OUHSC, Duncan Regional
Medical Center, Acxiom and many other large
enterprises. I have written code (PERL) for Dragon IDS
to enhance the product with shuts to PIX firewalls. I
regularly (average 1 per month) give presentations on
Intrusion Detection and UNIX security in front of
audiences encompassing around 30-40 end users and
business partners. Install and teach use of the
Nessus vulnerability scanner for clients as a plug-in
for Dragon for enhanced security. Installed Nessus /
Dragon combination at Oklahoma House of
Principal designer for 3 tier $4 million network for
West Interactive, Omaha Nebraska
Designed and implemented 802.11b/a wireless networks
with 802.1X authentication / PEAP for Texas Tech
University, Boeing (Tulsa), and East Central
University (Oklahoma). Installed Roving Planet
solution for East Central to manage authentication
based on existing Novell accounts at the University.
Built and maintained Enterasys Regional Technology Center in Dallas which includes an Active Directory structure, UNIX and NT servers, and Siemens HiPath VoIP phones for demonstrations to customers and partners. Managed 802.1X authentication on that networks with backend policies for guest, administrator and employee access. Responsible for implementing a change in the territory from a direct approach to a channel focused approach. Responsible for recruiting and signing 4 new channel partners in territory. Responsible for training channel partners on our product line.
