Security Professional openings (2) in Jax, Fl

Our client currently has two Security Professional contractor positions in Jacksonville, Florida. These openings are for a large insurance industry company. The positions require a dedicated and talented security professional with multiple years experience. College educated, CISSP certified and HIPAA exposure desired but not mandatory. You must be willing to work in beautiful and sunny Jacksonville, Florida. No relocation is being offered and no H1B visa applicants. This is an IMMEDIATE need! Listed below are some of the qualifications desired.

The position requires proficient knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of network security, configuration and administration of firewalls, administration of firewalls, VPN technology, use of SSL-enabled web applications and TCP/IP networking.

Knowledge and experience in several of the following areas is strongly preferred: UNIX (AIX Solaris), Windows NT (4 and 2000) Server, NT (4, 2000 and XP) Workstation, Web servers (IIS, ISA, Netscape), Web development, authentication tokens, RADIUS, SSL, Digital Certificates, LDAP, PKI, Directory Services, cryptography techniques, VPNs, JAVA, CGI scripts, RDBMS's, and networking of various systems.

Must possess the following business and technical skills: flexibility, adaptability, the ability to communicate on a technical and non-technical level, problem solving, project management, customer service focus and teamwork are all essential for this position.

Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or Business Administration preferred. A minimum of seven years Information Technology experience required some experience in Information Security, Internet development, and/or TCP/IP networking preferred.

Hardware: Comapq. , UNIX, IBM, Dell, Fujitsu; Operating System: Windows NT (4 and 2000) Server and workstation, Windows XP, AIX, Solaris, Software: Security Assessment/vulnerability, virus scanning, system monitoring. Unix Administration experience is very important.
