Mid-Level Security Supervisor

Security Supervisor
Permanent Position/ Pittsburgh PA
Up to $60,000 annual with benefits.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND Four (4) years experience in the information technology field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Completion of Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) process AND Experience in Mainframe IBM RACF or Computer Associates ACF2 security package are also required. Applicants who meet the above requirement and who are Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers are preferred. Duties:
* Monitors system for security breaches and takes corrective
actions.
* Monitors systems for vulnerabilities and takes corrective
actions.
* Operates UserID Management System and controls access to all
systems.
* Implements and maintains firewall technologies that secure the
company's infrastructure.
* Develops and maintains security policies and procedures, and
audit compliance with these policies and procedures.
* Identifies and implements all encryption and certificate
services required for the companies.
* Reviews security logs and violation reports.

• Performs other related duties as required or requested. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of:
• IBM RACF or Computer Associates ACF2 security package
• Security measures required to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure
• Standard concepts, practices and procedures of the IT security field Ability to:
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Monitor system for security breaches and to take corrective action
• Develop, implement and maintain firewall technologies that secure an organization's website
• Direct and lead the work of others
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Establish and maintain working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and others
