Vulnerability Detection - SW Engineer - Bay Area

Seeking a strong software engineer to work on the development of signatures for detecting network & application security vulnerabilities. You will implement & test vulnerability detection signatures, as well as develop content for the vulnerability database (environment is C/Linux), as well as do lots of scripting

You need to have:

MINIMUM 2+ years software development (C/Linux) EXCELLENT grasp/experience of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP)
STRONG understanding of system security concepts STRONG experience of all operating systems and application servers (cross plat, all inclusive)
EXCELLENT communication skills both written and verbal

This is a dynamic development environment and our client runs a fast pace - can you keep up?

You'll be a shoe in if your resume boasts your experience in the Network Security arena - - ie. tools, services, firewalls, IDS, VPN, encryption
