Security Researcher/Signature Developer needed

Symantec in Redwood City has multiple openings for both contract and permanent work. The role requires 2-3 years of experience. At this time we can support an H1B transfer Visa for somebody who is currently employed. This job is only open to candidates local to the SF/Bay Area.

Duties:

This is a position that participates in the development and maintenance of IDS signatures.

Requirements:

Ability to be action-oriented; ability to work with minimum supervision and set priorities; skill in problem solving; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow through on implementation.
