ICSA Labs has an immediate opening for highly qualified technical
employees in our facility in Mechanicsburg, PA.
As a Network Security Analyst, you will work as a member of a team at
ICSA Labs, testing and evaluating products on varying platforms
against
published standards and criteria. You will be exposed to numerous
mature and new-to-market products and interact with industry leading
security product managers and developers.
Requirements:
- System/Network Administration experience with Unix AND Microsoft OSs
- Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP and associated application level
protocols
as well as practical experience troubleshooting TCP/IP networks at the
packet level.
- Network Security knowledge
- High desire to learn
** Must be willing to relocate to the Mechanicsburg, PA area
at own expense.
** Must already be authorized to work in the US without
restrictions, and in possession of appropriate documentation.
Analyst duties include installation and configuration of network
security
devices and services, and involve problem solving and troubleshooting
of
security issues. The ability to express complex technical concepts
clearly
in both written and spoken English is required. Analysts must be able
to
independently read and comprehend technical materials in order to stay
abreast of the continuously changing body of security knowledge.
In addition, the following skills or experience may be helpful:
- Prior experience with security products (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS, AV)
- Experience in configuring routers and/or switches
- PERL, Unix shell or C programming skills
