[Snort-devel] restarting snort as a daemon process

hi

   I have a query , I want to run a service for snort so that it runs every 10 minutes as such. Is there any sigup signal to do it

    i am working on linux please help me out    

                     or

  I am working on GUI where I want to restart service of snort through GUI
