[Snort-devel] a basic question

Hi,

May be a little naive question, but...

I'm planning to develop a detection plugin to detect worm-traffic - but before that I'd like to better understand Snort's Architecture (more specifically the "detection" and "development" part of it)

It'd be nice help to me if anyone could help with that.
