[Snort-devel] Re:legit network-traffic generating tool?

My suggestion will be as follows:
1. Use TCPdump to capture the real-life traffic in my network 2. using TCPreply to replay the captured traffic and merge the traffic with the traffic generated by Nessus or other tools mentioned in the replies.

Although TCPreply cannot guanrantee to be interactive, it is the best FREE tools I can recommend. Other traffic generators are toooo expensive.
