Perhaps this will answer your question. In the distribution of ACID
that I have there are three files related to building ACID tables;
create_acid_tbls_mssql, create_acid_tbls_mysql and
create_acid_tbls_pgsql. So, it looks like ACID supports MS Sql, mysql
and postgresql, but *not* Oracle.
If you look at the ACID website in the "Installation and Configuration"
section (http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~rdanyliw/snort/acid_config.html),
you will see three databases; MS SQL, mysql and postgresql. I think
that's pretty conclusive.
ACID has no support for Oracle.
