RE: Question - How many of you run ALL your email through SA?

We do not allow SA to process everything.

Internet -> Grey Listing -> Link checks (milter-link from SnertSoft) -> Virus Checking -> SA -> Internal Mail Server

Due to the grey listing, this allows SA to see only a small percentage of email which really is really being attempted (and from what we see, that non-retries are not misconfigured MTAs). This has allowed us to keep our infrastructure fairly small (only 1 SA box with 1 CPU) while dealing with about 250K email / day delivery attampts.
