spamd keeps haning on win32

Im new at this so please bear with me.
Im running windows 2003 r2 sp1 with dual xeon 3.4 ghz processors and 3 gb of ram The software is Mdaemon 9.6.2 running the latest version of spammassissin. When I look at the performance, spamd is using 100 megs or ram and cpu usage is almost nil My spamd keeps hanging on me and I have to restart it constantly or the email wont get processed. Anyone else experiencing this on a win32 system?? This has been going on for a while and Ive swapped the ram, turned bayes off and on and its driving me crazy. We get approx 1000 emails an hour which is mostly spam, but why does spamd keep hanging?? Received on Wed Aug 29 19:56:34 2007
