I don't want to add any email capabilities to the program. I think that's going a bit outside the scope of what the program should be responsible for. Besides, if you run it from cron, you will automatically receive an email of any output from the program.

So the idea is to have the program be quiet if there are no updates and output information if there are updates or errors. Cron can handle emailing the information.

Don't know when I'll have time to look at this, so don't hold your breath waiting on me. :)
